Pete’s Pond Page is the best place to start if you are thinking of adding a pond. I have done it before and the outcome is very rewarding. If you are willing to do all the work yourself the project does not have to be very expensive.

And if you plan on keeping koi in that pond (or being overcrowded with goldfish) whatever flow rate you come up with - double it!!
