Tackling Weeds - Weeding
By admin | July 16, 2007
Never make the mistake of waiting until your garden weeds are established and growing out of control. Watch and take immediate action. If you wait too long you’re certainly going to spend hours cutting and pulling in an attempt to battle overgrown weeds through your garden.
First you should identify weeds from the moment they emerge from the soil, this will let you take care of them when they’re young and so easier to control.
Use logical weed control techniques to counter the fight, this includes organic mulches, limiting tilling, never allowing bare soil to be exposed, and never use your hose reel to feed them!
Also, be sure that you NEVER allow weeds to flower or set seeds in or near the garden. Follow these simple suggestions and over time you will spend less time weeding and more time growing and enjoying your garden.
