Hose Reels are a Mans Best Friend

If ever a song should be written, its this “Hose Reels Are a Man’s Best Friend”. No I havent gone mad, I dont need the men in white coats to come take me away. Its just that in the sweltering heat of the last few days my usual gardening chores have become heavenly. Let me explain.
For the last year or so I’ve been using one of these automatic Hose Reels which at the flick of a switch rewind the hose reel back into its holder using nothing more than mere water power.
Yesterday when I’ve finished watering the perennials I recalled how last year this would have been the end of the gardening, but the beginning of the chore. Beginning with gathering up the hose, winding it up, wiping the (by then) pouring sweat from my brow and then pulling and twisting the last of my active muscles carrying the hose reel back to the shed.
But no more. Now the magic of invention has created this great hose reel that takes the sweat of rewinding and storing your hose.
Oh… and the other reason Hose Reels are a Man’s Best Friend… this year I bought the sprinkler attachments, so the last thing I did before pushing the button was to attach it, switch it on and gave myself a quick cooling off.
