Garden Hose Holder - Wizard 150

Today i’m responding directly to an email received from Mrs Jean Granger from Kent, United Kingdom who wrote:

I’ve been using a traditional hose reel for as long as I can remember, though as I reach the peak of my life (I’ll be 74 years old next week!) my grandchildren have been hassling me to take things easier and find ways to make my life more ceonvenient and hassle free.
My grandaughter told me about this blog and said there is always talk of an automatic hose reel and combine garden hose holder. This truly would be of help. I’ve been looking around this internet thing and have found a number of automatic rewinding hose holders, can please recommend a good one for a youthful pensioner.

Thanks for your letter Jean. Indeed there are a large number of hose holders out there on the market, but in essence they all do the same thing (with varying quality and reliability). The use of water power to rewind the hose really is an innovation and convenience worth considering.
Most of the variances in product come from colours, size and finishing. Whether you want to save money an have the hose exposed or spend a little more for a smart concealed (hideaway) hose. Then there are plastic finishes is green or grey, or a pretty country cottage style in a wood finish.

what a coincidence…. i bought one of those Wizard 150 garden hose holders from amazon last week… i just gave it a run through yesterday, mucho fun!
